Should you need to cancel for any reason, please notify the hotel by phone or email (++1-202-990-3444 / nvroom@tbchotels.com) at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid a penalty. Cancellations within 72 hours prior of arrival with incur a penalty of full payment for room(s) plus tax.

Three days prior to your arrival, on the credit card you provided at the time of booking, full payment for your room(s) plus tax will be charged, for the duration of your stay. If you need to make any changes to your method of payment please notify the hotel (++1-202-990-3444 / nvroom@tbchotels.com)

Check-in time is from 4:00PM, however should the room be available and ready for your arrival, we are happy to accommodate an earlier check-in time. LATE ARRIVAL: If you plan to arrive after 7:00pm, please ensure you have connected with Nico or John to arrange your key pick up.
On the day of your departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 12:00PM. Should you need to stay a little longer, please connect with one of our guesthouse team members for availability.

Dogs are permitted to stay at The Poppy Georgetown. We look forward to offering you a memorable stay with your furry friend and to ensure the comfort and enjoyment for all guests, we do ask that you adhere to the following protocols:
Dogs must be under 50lbs and no more than 2 dogs per room.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when in the public areas and gardens of the guesthouse.
We ask that during food service, that dogs are not brought into the parlor.
For the safety of our housekeeping team, please place the ‘Dog in Room’ Sign on the outside of your guestroom door whenever your dog is in the room.
For your convenience, pet waste bags are provided. Dogs can be walked for relief in the neighboring Rose Park, just one block away from guesthouse.
Pet Fee: $40 per night non-refundable, please add ‘Pet Stay’ to your reservation during the booking process to receive a pet perk upon arrival.

Best available rates are available when booking direct online. Accommodation rates are per room per night, based on 2-persons sharing a room. The Poppy Georgetown is 100% Non-Smoking. There is no smoking within the property and grounds, including the courtyard, gardens and patio. A leisurely stroll in the direction of Rose Park might be an idea should you wish to smoke.

Everyone is welcome, no matter your age. However, we do ask that at least one guest in your party who checks-in into The Poppy Georgetown is 21 years or older.

Both inside and outside, we ask you keep the noise to a minimum for the comfort of all guests. We want every guest to have a peaceful and enjoyable stay, therefore noise complaints are taken seriously.
Quiet Hours Sunday-Thursday are from 9:00PM to 8:00AM + Friday-Saturday are from 10:00PM to 8:00AM
Gardens are open on weekdays from 8:00AM - 9:00PM and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00AM - 10:00PM.

For your safety and security The Poppy Georgetown is equipped with security cameras. Located in public areas only both inside and outside and in operation 24/7.

There is street parking available on the street within the neighborhood. It is metered parking and limited to 2-hours. Park and pay using the ParkMobile App. Download the App
While street parking with ParkMobile might be easy for your arrival and luggage transfer, you may want to consider an alternative if you prefer not to manage the meters.
