Guest Rooms

Every guest room is unique at The Poppy Georgetown, but throughout them all, colorful, patterned wallpaper and fabrics curated with minimal, modern furniture to strike a balance between playfulness and elegance. Our design team also considered Historic Georgetown when putting the final touches on each room.

Each room features high-thread-count sheets, plush pillow-top comfort mattresses, flat-screen TVs and mini-fridges. All bathrooms are en-suite with walk-in showers and a collection of luxury amenities by LATHER® are provided. Two of our rooms also boast free-standing Kohler soaking tubs.

Our guesthouse hotel in Georgetown offers a curated mix of tradition and modern, our goal is for rooms to be calming and comfortable so that you feel like you are at home here in Washington DC.

The Poppy Queen rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 can be found by taking the first set of stairs up, from the front door and parlor.

Rooms 14 and 15 can be located by taking the third staircase, travel up, left and up again. These two rooms are sold separately but interconnect with an adjoining door, making them ideal for a family or group who want to share access to each others rooms.

The Poppy Suite

More is a little more when you choose a suite stay at our Georgetown guesthouse. A spacious king room room flooded in natural light from the tall windows overlooking the secret garden.

More space than the traditional king with the ability to accommodate additional guests in the suite’s own cozy snug. This space is where you first enter the suite, where you will also find an additional television and a sleeper sofa/reading nook. Ideal for accommodating additional adults or children.

Entire house rental includes all 15 guestrooms (5 with double sleeper sofas) each with their own en-suite bathrooms, the parlor, welcome reception area, front P-Street courtyard patio, Room 23’s secret garden and the courtyard guesthouse gardens in the back of the house.
